Yucayeque Heart (Family Ties)

Verse 1:
From the concrete to the coast, our roots run deep
Taíno blood, a promise we’ll always keep
In this modern world, we stand side by side
Family bonds, our strength and our pride

Chorus:
Yucayeque heart, beating strong and true
In every barrio, our love shines through
From elders to babies, we’re all entwined
Taíno family, forever aligned

Verse 2:
Abuela’s stories, whispered in the night
Of caciques and bohíques, guiding our fight
Tío’s laughter echoes at the family feast
Our unity grows, from west to east

(Chorus)

Bridge:
In good times and bad, we lift each other up
Share the cassava bread, pass the loving cup
Our children are treasures, more precious than gold
In them, our culture and values unfold

Verse 3:
Cousins like siblings, friends become kin
Our circle expands, letting more love in
At every milestone, we gather and sing
Our bond unbroken, like an endless ring

(Chorus)
