Wings of Seraphim

Celestial plumage, shimmering gold and white,
Unfurls across the boundless realms of light.
Six wings of glory, veiling holy face,
Beating with power, radiating grace.

Voices like thunder, yet sweet as heaven’s lyre,
Lips touched by embers from the sacred fire.
“Holy, holy, holy,” their endless song,
Echoing through eternity’s long.

Eyes of flame pierce through creation’s veil,
Before their gaze, mortal courage fails.
Yet love divine infuses every feather,
Bridging the gulf ‘tween earthly and forever.

They hover ‘round the throne in ceaseless praise,
Their very essence set forever ablaze.
Guardians of mystery, bearers of awe,
Upholding the weight of cosmic law.

Mortals glimpse them only in dreams or prayer,
A flash of wing, a whisper on the air.
But in that moment, earth and heaven merge,
And human hearts with angelic fervor surge.

O Seraphim, on your majestic wings,
Carry our hopes to the King of Kings.
Ignite in us a spark of holy fire,
And lift our spirits ever higher.
