We’ve All Been Dancing in the Dark
We’ve all been dancing in the dark, you see,
A collective rhythm, a shared melody,
In the depths of shadows, where secrets reside,
We’ve swayed and twirled, with hearts open wide.
In the darkness, we’ve found solace and release,
A sanctuary where inhibitions cease,
With every step, we’ve embraced the unknown,
Our souls intertwining, in a dance all our own.
In the dark, we’ve shed our masks and disguise,
Unveiling our truths, with fearless eyes,
For in the absence of light, we find our truth,
A raw vulnerability, uncensored and uncouth.
We’ve danced through the pain, the sorrow, the strife,
Seeking solace in the darkness of life,
But even in the darkest hour, we’ve discovered,
A flicker of hope, a love undiscovered.
In the dark, we’ve found strength to endure,
To rise above challenges, to endure,
For it’s through the shadows, we learn to grow,
To embrace the light, as it begins to glow.
We’ve all been dancing in the dark, hand in hand,
Connected through the rhythm, a united band,
Through the highs and lows, the twists and turns,
We’ve danced with passion, our spirits yearn.
In the darkness, we’ve found our inner light,
A beacon of resilience, burning bright,
For it’s in the dance, where we’ve learned to see,
That even in darkness, we can still be free.
So let us dance, in the depths of the night,
Embrace the darkness, with all our might,
For in the dance, we find our souls alight,
And realize, even in the dark, we can ignite.
