Voices from the West Bank

In the heart of the West Bank, where shadows dwell,
Echoes of history in every ancient well,
Where the olive trees whisper tales untold,
And the spirit of resistance, fierce and bold.

Amidst the winding streets, where children play,
Their laughter carries through the heat of day,
But underneath their innocent, joyous cries,
Lurks the pain of a land where hope defies.

Through checkpoints and barriers, they navigate,
Their spirits unyielding, their will innate,
For every stone cast, every tear shed,
Is a testament to the dreams ahead.

From Nablus to Bethlehem, Hebron to Jericho’s gate,
In every corner, they endure and await,
For the dawn of justice, the break of day,
When freedom’s light will chase the shadows away.

Their voices rise like the call to prayer,
A symphony of resilience in the air,
For Palestine, they sing, they strive, they yearn,
In the face of adversity, they fiercely burn.

Though the world may turn a blind eye,
Their truth and struggle will never die,
For in their hearts, Palestine lives on,
A beacon of hope, resilient and strong.
