Unwritten Letters

In the quiet of night, where the shadows convene,
Lie letters unwritten, with words left unseen.
They whisper on paper, in ink yet to flow,
Carried by breezes, where only hearts know.

Each line holds a longing, each phrase a regret,
Thoughts tangled in silence, like a delicate net.
A confession of love that never took flight,
Promises spoken in the stillness of night.

The folds of each letter, a cradle for dreams,
Where hopes intertwine with the softest of screams.
They drift through the ether, like leaves on the stream,
Untouched by the daylight, yet alive in the dream.

With every unwritten, a piece of the soul,
A fragment of courage, a search for the whole.
The weight of the unsaid, it lingers and stays,
In the chambers of memory, where longing decays.

Yet in their stillness, there’s beauty to find,
For letters unspoken can free the confined.
They dance on the wind, like whispers of grace,
Filling the silence with an invisible trace.

So let them be carried, those words never penned,
For in every unwritten, a story can blend.
In the heart’s quiet corners, where feelings reside,
Lie the letters unspoken, our truths untried.
