Toddler Logic
In the mind of a toddler, where logic runs free,
The world is a playground, full of wonder and glee.
But the rules they follow, are a mystery to all,
Defying adult reason, standing proud and tall.
The cookie crumbles, a tragedy unfolds,
Tears flow like rivers, as the drama molds.
A broken treat, a shattered dream,
In toddler logic, it’s worth a scream.
The floor is lava, a perilous game,
Jumping from couch to chair, no one to blame.
Pillows become islands, in a sea of fire,
Imagination runs wild, a toddler’s desire.
Why sleep when you can jump and shout?
Bedtime is boring, let’s sing and pout!
Who needs rest, when there’s fun to be had?
In toddler logic, sleep is just a fad.
Shoes are optional, socks are a must,
Dressing oneself, is a matter of trust.
Mismatched colors, inside out and proud,
Fashion statements, toddlers are allowed.
Vegetables are yucky, but dirt is a treat,
Eating is an adventure, with hands and feet.
Spaghetti on the wall, peas on the floor,
In toddler logic, meals are never a bore.
