The Weight and Wings of Silence

I.
In the symphony of chaos,
silence is the rest,
a pause heavy as lead,
sinking deep into the marrow,
yet it cradles the heart —
a promise of breath
between the notes of a relentless tune.
II.
Silence is a cloak,
woven with threads of stillness,
draped over shoulders weary
from the clamor of time.
It bears the weight of unsaid words,
pressing down,
yet, in its folds,
there’s a whisper of freedom.
III.
A cathedral of absence,
where echoes linger,
silence builds walls
that both confine and protect.
In its halls, we wander,
seeking solace in shadowed corners,
where thoughts unfurl
like banners in the dark.
IV.
Silence, the blank canvas,
awaits the brush of reflection.
It holds the potential of dawn,
a horizon unspoken,
where dreams take flight —
its emptiness a sky
for aspirations to soar.
V.
In the eye of the storm,
silence is the calm,
a fragile peace
that balances on a knife’s edge.
It is the breath before the plunge,
a moment suspended,
where the world holds its heartbeat,
and you, for an instant,
are weightless.
