The Uncarved Block of Freedom

--

In the void of no-mind, revolution blooms,
A lotus rising from hierarchy’s tombs.
The circle-A merges with ensō’s grace,
As we dance in authority’s empty space.

No rulers, no ruled, just the flowing Tao,
Anarchy’s river carves canyons below.
Zen’s silence speaks louder than any state,
As we meditate on a world we create.

Mutual aid, like bamboo, flexible, strong,
Interconnected, where all belong.
No gods, no masters, just this moment’s truth,
In mindful rebellion, we find our youth.

Koans of freedom puzzle the mind,
As we leave the chains of order behind.
In letting go, we truly possess,
A stateless society, no more, no less.

The warrior’s sword turned plowshare,
Cultivating liberty with tender care.
Zen gardens and barricades intertwine,
As we sip revolution’s heady wine.

Breathe in chaos, exhale pure form,
The calm eye of anarchy’s storm.
Neither grasping nor rejecting, we flow,
Through a world where all power must go.

Zazen on the streets, riots in the heart,
Dichotomies dissolve, a fresh start.
The sound of one hand toppling the state,
Echoes through a future we co-create.

So sit, or stand, or dance, or fight,
But do so with empty mind, burning bright.
For in the marriage of Zen and anarchy,
We find the path to true liberty.
