The Paradox Path

--

Two trails diverge in emerald woods,
One manicured, one wild as could be.
The first, a path of shoulds and woulds,
The other, tangled possibility.
Both beckon with their siren goods.

The well-worn way, so neat and trim,
Promises safety, ease, and light.
Its stones are placed with practiced whim,
Each turn revealed to searching sight.
A journey free from danger’s rim.

Yet parallel, the wild track calls,
With brambles, thorns, and hidden streams.
Its chaos whispers, enthralls,
Of adventures beyond our dreams,
Where nature’s raw beauty enthralls.

The traveler stands, torn between,
Order’s comfort, chaos’ thrill.
But wisdom whispers, unforeseen:
Both paths ascend the same great hill,
Two faces of truth’s coin, serene.

So step forth brave, on either trail,
Or dance between them as you go.
For in life’s grand, mysterious tale,
It’s not the path, but how we grow,
That writes our journey’s winding tale.
