Welcome to the land where logic expires
And rational thought gets tossed in the bin
Where contradictions ignite roaring fires
And absurdity spawns layers within

Two-headed giraffes nibble rainbow spaghetti
While winged hippos flutter by overhead
Melting clocks drip down walls oh so sweaty
As a moose goose honks marching to bed

Green ideas slither and slide without friction
Words flip and flop in a syntax stew
Sense and meaning have parted conviction
They waved goodbye when the nonsense flew

The sun sets westward through eastern windows
Birds bark rhyming couplets up in the trees
Square circled triangles eat psycho Pringles
Absurdity multiplying with ease

In the nonsensical menagerie of the mind
Reason sleeps while absurdity dances
Surreal scenes cascade unconfined
Unfettered by rational glances

So come one, come all, enter the crazy
Where up is down and in is out
Sense melts away, no need to be wary
It’s a topsy-turvy realm of doubt

Open your mind to the illogically silly
Let go of needing things sensical
In the nonsensical menagerie there are no rules
Absurdity governs this realm magical
