Her chance came when she was selected as an ambassador to the Dawn Alliance, along with ambassadors from other Midnight Nations. This unparalleled diplomatic mission represented a turning point — the first real chance for peace.

The negotiations were grueling, with long held prejudices and suspicions threatening to derail progress at every turn. But Amani and her fellow ambassadors persisted. Perhaps it was the communal lunar eclipse viewing, staring up at the same humbling skies. But after a decade of diligent work, ambassador Amani finally witnessed the impossible — the reunification of humankind under the Terran Alliance.
