The Mouse’s Enlightenment
A tiny mouse scurries by,
With whiskers sharp and fur awry.
He stops to ponder, deep in thought,
“What’s the meaning of this life I’ve got?”
He seeks the truth with every stride,
And meditates by the fireside.
He contemplates his tiny frame,
And realizes he’s just a name.
With newfound wisdom in his heart,
He sets his sights on a brand new start.
He leaves his nest and ventures out,
To see what life is all about.
He dances through the fields of green,
And revels in the sights unseen.
He’s found the joy in every moment,
And learned that life is not a torment.
Now he sits atop a rock,
And ponders on his newfound stock.
He knows the truth and won’t forget,
That life’s a journey, not a fret.
So let us learn from this wise mouse,
And take a break from our daily grouse.
We too can find our own enlightenment,
And live a life of true contentment.
