The Moon’s Embrace

In the velvet night she rises,
A celestial queen in silver gown.
Her gentle light caresses Earth,
As she wears her luminous crown.

Tides swell to meet her loving touch,
Oceans reaching for her grace.
While forests bathe in soft moonbeams,
That filter through the leaves’ embrace.

Lovers whisper secrets sweet,
Beneath her knowing, watchful eye.
She guards their tender moments shared,
A silent witness in the sky.

Through windows, she casts dreamy spells,
On sleeping children’s peaceful faces.
Her lullaby of silent light,
Carries them to far-off places.

As dawn approaches, she retreats,
But leaves a promise in her wake.
That when night falls, she’ll return again,
The world once more in love to take.
