The Eternal Slackline

One inch of nylon ribbon
Stretched across the void
Vibrating with quantum uncertainty
And cosmic jokes

Left foot: the laws of physics
Right foot: pure chance
Each step a dance between
What must be and what might be

The line wavers like thought
Through nebulae and black holes
Past supernovas that wink
Like Buddha’s knowing smile

Below: the abyss of perfect order
Above: the chaos of infinite possibility
And here I am, cosmic fool
Walking the razor’s edge

Galaxies spiral past
Like juggling pins
I catch and release them
With the grace of letting go

The secret, they say
Is not to balance at all
But to embrace the wobble
Make friends with the fall

Some nights I can feel
Every tightrope walker
Who ever lived
Dancing on this same thin line

Their laughter echoes
Through space-time
As we all learn together:
Enlightenment is just
Really good balance
