The Depths of the Abyss
In the depths of the abyss,
Where darkness reigns supreme,
Lies a world of shadows,
And things that should not seen.
The air is thick with malice,
And the ground is slick with blood,
As the creatures of the night,
Roam in search of flesh and mud.
Their eyes are black as night,
And their skin is cold as stone,
As they slither through the shadows,
In their quest to be alone.
The moon casts an eerie glow,
On the twisted trees and vines,
And the stars above are dim,
As darkness intertwines.
In this land of the macabre,
Where nightmares come to life,
The only thing that’s certain,
Is that death is rife.
For in these shadowed woods,
Lies a terror all its own,
A creature of the darkness,
That will chill you to the bone.
It creeps in silence through the night,
Its eyes ablaze with fire,
As it hunts for prey to feed upon,
And sate its dark desire.
Its breath is cold as ice,
And its touch is like a knife,
As it slips into your mind,
And steals away your life.
So, if you ever wander,
Into this realm of night,
Beware the darkness lurking,
For it will swallow you whole,
And never let you go.
