Taíno Resurgence

Verse 1:
Ancient spirits whisper through the breeze
Echoes of a culture thought to be lost
But we rise, like the sun over Caribbean seas
Our ancestors’ wisdom, no longer crossed

Chorus:
Taíno resurgence, our hearts beat as one
Celebrating heritage under the island sun
From mountain to shore, our voices unite
Rekindling traditions, burning bright

Verse 2:
Cemí guardians watch as we gather ‘round
Bohío circles filled with stories untold
Our language revived, a beautiful sound
Preserving knowledge more precious than gold

(Chorus)

Bridge:
We are the children of Atabey and Yúcahu
Guardians of nature, keepers of the old ways
With every batey dance, our spirits renew
Honoring our roots for all of our days

Verse 3:
From cassava to canoe, our skills live on
Passing down crafts from elders to youth
United we stand, a new dawn has begun
Taíno pride, an everlasting truth

(Chorus)

Outro:
Taíno resurgence, our legacy thrives
In every heartbeat, our culture survives
