Serenity in the Absurd

In a world of upside-down logic,
Where clocks melt and fish fly,
Serenity blooms like a lotus,
In an impossible sky.

Embrace the cosmic giggle,
Let reason take a bow,
For in the depths of madness,
Peace is found somehow.

Meditate on rubber chickens,
Find zen in squeaky toys,
The sage wears mismatched socks,
And revels in the noise.

In chaos’ swirling vortex,
A calm center persists,
Like a tea party in free-fall,
Where everyone insists,

That normalcy is overrated,
And sense is just a phase,
True wisdom lies in laughter,
At life’s absurd displays.

The koan of the sitcom,
The mantra of the mime,
In nonsense, find your stillness,
Transcend the bounds of time.

Let go of expectations,
Of how things ought to be,
For in acceptance of the weird,
The mind at last breaks free.

The Buddha wears a clown nose,
And juggles paradox,
While enlightenment is found,
In misplaced pairs of socks.

So when the world turns topsy-turvy,
And nothing seems quite right,
Remember that serenity,
Thrives in absurdity’s light.

Find peace in pratfalls,
Tranquility in jest,
For in life’s grand comedy,
Serenity is best.

The wise man rides a unicycle,
Through halls of warped mirrors,
Finding in each reflection,
A truth that shimmers, quivers.

So laugh at life’s complexities,
Embrace the strange and odd,
For in the heart of absurdness,
Dwells peace, a silent nod.

To all that defies reason,
To all that twists and bends,
For in serenity’s acceptance,
The cosmic joke transcends.
