Petals of Time
In the garden of life, where moments bloom,
There lies a delicate beauty, in full bloom,
Petals of time, scattered in the breeze,
Whispering tales of the past, with gentle ease.
Each petal, a fragment of a memory,
A snapshot of a moment, for all to see,
Fragile and fleeting, like a passing thought,
Petals of time, in a tapestry, tightly woven and taut.
They dance upon the winds of yesterday,
Carrying whispers of laughter and dismay,
The joyous moments, like blossoms in spring,
The heartaches and sorrows, a bitter sting.
Some petals, vibrant and bold in hue,
Reflecting the triumphs, the dreams pursued,
They shimmer and glisten, in the sun’s embrace,
Petals of time, frozen in a moment’s grace.
Others, faded and worn, their colors subdued,
Hold the weight of lessons learned, and wisdom accrued,
They speak of resilience, of growth and change,
Petals of time, a reminder to embrace the strange.
And as the seasons turn, and years pass by,
The petals of time, continue to fly,
They blanket the ground, in a colorful array,
A mosaic of memories, where life’s footprints stay.
