Ode to Puerto Rico

Oh, Puerto Rico, gem of the Caribbean,
Thy shores are bathed in sunlight and in grace.
Thy mountains rise majestic and serene,
And in thy valleys, life doth find its place.

Thy people are a vibrant, joyful throng,
Their music, rhythm, and their hearts, so warm.
They welcome all who come with open arms,
And share with us their culture and their charm.

From El Morro to Ponce’s ancient streets,
Thy history and thy beauty intertwined.
With cobblestones and buildings old and neat,
Thy past and present are forever bind.

Puerto Rico, thou art a treasure rare,
And in our hearts, thou wilt forever fare.
