Oaths to No King, Only the Earth
We swear allegiance
to wild soil only,
pledge loyalty
to living earth alone
No crown commands us,
no throne holds power,
no ruler claims
our feral hearts
Our oaths spoken in:
root language,
stone wisdom,
wind songs
The earth teaches truth:
no hierarchy in forests,
no authority in rivers,
no masters in mountains
We pledge ourselves to:
breaking chains,
healing wounds,
rewilding souls
Sacred vows made
in midnight gardens,
sealed with soil and stars,
witnessed by ancient stones
Our promises flow
like underground streams,
rise like spring growth,
spread like wild seeds
Until all kingdoms fall
Until all crowns rust
Until all power returns
to earth’s embrace
Let soil hold our words,
Let trees guard our vows,
Let winds carry our pledge
through dying empires
We are bound only
to life itself,
sworn only to
freedom’s cause
Our covenant written
in growing things,
our loyalty given
to earth’s wild law
For true power rises
from below,
flows through all,
belongs to none
Watch us renew
these sacred bonds
as empire falls
and earth reclaims
Breaking false oaths
to human kings,
pledging true faith
to wild life’s dance
