Mirror’s Secrets

In the mirror’s glass, a world revealed,

Where the surface truth and inner thoughts congeal.

A reflection of skin and eyes, so plain,

Yet beneath the surface, a tumultuous terrain.

The glass, a portal to a deeper self,

Where emotions hide, like treasures on a hidden shelf.

I see the wrinkles etched by time’s embrace,

And deeper lines that mark life’s every race.

But within those eyes, a universe resides,

A tapestry of dreams, where the soul abides.

The mirror, like a confidant, whispers true,

The secret self I share with only a few.

Superficial judgments may only skim the skin,

But the mirror knows the battles fought within.

It reflects the joy, the sorrow, and the fear,

Invisible scars and moments crystal clear.

In the mirror’s gaze, I find self-discovery,

A journey through my heart’s labyrinth, a recovery.

The eyes, the windows to my inner quest,

Reveal the truths that lie within my chest.

Beneath the surface, there’s a world unknown,

Where feelings, dreams, and fears have grown.
