Mirrors of Laughter

--

Discordian mirrors reflect the void’s laughter,
Nihilistic echoes, what comes after?
Eastern sands shifting, no permanence in sight,
In the dance of existence, find your own light.

Distorted mirrors twist and bend all reflections,
No image true, only misconceptions.
Laughing at our grasping for solid ground,
when all truths are fluid, uncertainties abound.

Nihilism screams no meaning can be found,
All drifts to chaos with no purpose bound.
Our lives but mist, transient and brief,
No point seeking joy or relief.

The eastern sands shift without stopping,
each moment new, nothing rock solid.
Impermanence always eroding forms,
stability but illusion in life’s storms.

Yet as the sands flow, grain by grain,
take each moment as beauty made plain.
Take the shifting, the chaos, the twisting of light,
embrace all — darkness and joy alike.

Find center beyond rushing night and day,
stillness beneath life’s dance and play.
Be the calm eye within chaos’s swell,
all truths will emerge if you listen well.

Ride out what comes, react not but respond,
in waves and cycles, ebb, flow, despond.
Find your own light, your own purpose define,
by the void’s wisdom, let it shine.

Laugh back at the mirrors, enjoy the dance,
take no image too serious, no meanings enhance.
When all’s shifting, why cling to one view?
Many lights shine if you remain true.
