Lonely Hearts

Lonely hearts parading around

No longer feeling their worth

They wear their masks and fake their smiles

But inside they are hurt

They search for love in all the wrong places

Hoping to fill the void

They settle for less than they deserve

And end up being annoyed

They forget that they are not alone

That there are others who care

They forget that they are valuable

That they have something to share

They need to stop and look within

And find their inner light

They need to love themselves first
