Jest and Jollity
In a land of laughter and whimsy,
Where joy dances with glee,
I find myself in a goofy mood,
Embracing a world so carefree.
With floppy ears and a silly grin,
I stumble through each passing day,
Tripping over my own clumsy feet,
As laughter echoes along the way.
I wear a hat that’s far too big,
With polka dots and stripes in view,
Mismatched socks upon my feet,
A true reflection of my goofy brew.
I stumble upon banana peels,
Sliding across the slippery floor,
Arms flailing, legs a-tangle,
But it’s all part of the fun, for sure!
I giggle at the smallest things,
Tickled by the silliest of jokes,
For in this goofy state of mind,
Life’s troubles are but gentle pokes.
I pull funny faces in the mirror,
Creating laughter from within,
Absurdity becomes my canvas,
And the world, my joyful spin.
With a joyful heart and playful soul,
I navigate the world askew,
For it’s in my goofy, whimsical mood,
That I find the essence of being true.
So let us embrace the silly side,
And revel in laughter’s sweet embrace,
For in our goofy moments of delight,
We find a refuge, a cherished space.
