Embers of the Soul

--

Deep within the heart’s embrace,
Lies a fire, a sacred space,
Where embers glow, a gentle light,
Illuminating the soul’s dark night.

These embers, born of love and pain,
Of joy and sorrow, loss and gain,
They hold the stories of our lives,
The moments that make us feel alive.

In times of trouble, when hope seems lost,
And the world outside is tempest-tossed,
The embers of our soul still burn,
A beacon, guiding our return.

For in these glowing, warmest parts,
Lies the essence of our hearts,
The passion, purpose, and the drive,
That keep our spirits alive.

When the winds of change blow cold,
And life’s uncertainties take hold,
The embers of our soul remain,
A constant force, a soothing flame.

They whisper to us in the night,
Reminding us to stand and fight,
To face our fears and chase our dreams,
And let our inner light be seen.

For in the embers, there’s a spark,
A promise that we can embark,
On journeys that will make us grow,
And help our true selves to show.

So let us tend these embers well,
And listen to the tales they tell,
Of strength and courage, hope and grace,
That live within this sacred space.

And when life’s trials make us bend,
We’ll find the embers, like a friend,
A source of warmth, a guiding ray,
To light our path, to lead the way.

For we are more than flesh and bone,
We are the embers, burning strong,
A testament to all we’ve been,
And all the wonders yet unseen.

So let our souls forever glow,
With embers that will always show,
The beauty, power, and the might,
Of hearts that burn with endless light.
