Eclipsed Hearts
Two hearts, once shining bright,
Intertwined in love’s pure light,
Now cast in shadows, dark and deep,
As the eclipse of sorrow creeps.
The sun of joy, obscured from view,
By the moon of pain, a somber hue,
Two hearts, once beating as one,
Now eclipsed, their love undone.
In the darkness, they drift apart,
Each seeking solace, a new start,
The memories of their love, now stained,
By the eclipse of trust, profaned.
The shadows lengthen, cold and bleak,
As the eclipsed hearts, so weak,
Struggle to find a glimmer of hope,
In the void where they now grope.
But even in the darkest night,
A flicker of starlight, a guiding light,
Can pierce the veil of the eclipse,
And offer a chance for love’s eclipse.
For hearts eclipsed, though battered and bruised,
Can heal and mend, their love renewed,
If they dare to face the shadows’ might,
And fight for the love that once shone bright.
It’s a journey fraught with pain and tears,
Confronting doubts and deepest fears,
But if they persevere, hand in hand,
The eclipse will fade, and love will stand.
So let the eclipsed hearts, now apart,
Remember the love that once did start,
And strive to break the shadows’ hold,
To let their love story again be told.
For in the end, when the eclipse subsides,
And the sun of joy again presides,
Two hearts, once eclipsed, can shine anew,
Their love rekindled, forever true.
