Echoes of Eternity
From Babylon’s hanging gardens to Mayan pyramids tall,
Ancient voices whisper, their wisdom enthralls.
Across time and space, a tapestry unfurls,
Of human experience, precious as pearls.
Confucius speaks of harmony, in measured tones,
While Socrates questions, leaving no stone unturned.
From Africa’s heart, a griot’s tale resounds,
With rhythms of life, in proverbs profound.
Native American elders, in circles gather,
Their stories of earth and sky, wisdom to scatter.
In India’s verses, the Vedas sing,
Of cycles eternal, the joy they bring.
Arabic poets, with passion aflame,
Weave love and devotion, in verses untamed.
From Norse sagas, valor and honor ring,
While Zen masters teach of the peace within.
Australian Dreamtime, paintings in sand,
Tell of creation, of sea and of land.
Andean flutes carry melodies old,
Of mountain spirits and treasures untold.
In every culture, in every age,
Wisdom blossoms on history’s page.
Though tongues may differ, and customs too,
The heart of humanity beats strong and true.
