Echoes of Equality
In the hallowed halls where silence fell,
Echoes of equality began to swell.
A symphony of voices, diverse and strong,
In every stanza, a call for righting wrong.
Beneath the moon, whose glow embraced,
The dreams of those who sought to taste,
The sweet nectar of justice, unreserved,
Echoes of equality, undeterred.
Through the valleys of oppression’s grip,
A chorus rose, a steady whip,
Against the chains of prejudice,
Resounding verses, a poignant kiss.
In the city streets, where shadows loomed,
The echoes danced, the walls consumed,
By the fervent words of those who dared,
To speak aloud, to make it shared.
In the heart of every protest song,
Echoes of equality echoed strong.
With each stanza, a plea to mend,
The fractures deep that time did send.
From the whispered tales of the marginalized,
To the anthems sung by the stigmatized,
The poem of the people began to unfold,
In echoes of equality, a story untold.
A verse for the workers, toiling long,
